One of the all-time albums from that rea. Skilful songs, not bad sound and top riffs.

From: Richard H. Date: June 19, 2002 at 12:twenty
This was their all-time release and nonetheless remains a classic in this genre.Thunder In The Due east was the anthology that displayed an amazing meshing of western influenced rock with an eastern flavour. If you lot want to get one of their albums ....information technology should be this ane.Very Good

stone due north gyre crazy nighttime you are my hero tonight hey hey hey. awesome song, and guitar work. my buddy got me into this band from the eastward.little tidbit gene simmons also dug this ring to.

From: Blue Tequila Date: June four, 2003 at 5:02
Hey Ace, I idea it was "Wok northward Woll Clazy Nighttime"??!! A buddy of mine was ane of those guys who was e'er finding the not-mainstream bands (Shok Paris, Manowar, Flotsam and Jetsam) and got me hooked on this dorsum in jr. loftier. I'm usually not a big fan of "technical" playing but Loudness really does an incredible job of putting life and free energy into all their songs. One of those albums I don't get tired of listening to.

From: Date: June five, 2003 at 4:13
This album was far beyond annihilation released in America in that menstruum, next to Queensryche and maybe a few others. Solid, real musicians first who just happen to choose playing metallic. The vocals are great, but the emphasis is what turns off many people.

From: Scandinavia Date: June 8, 2003 at 22:25
This is a very unique album..Very agressive for the time of its release. They play with a brutal attitude that was unseen in melodic metal at that fourth dimension. Highly underrated band. Akira is a very talented guitar role player as well. I heard PRIMAL Fearfulness did a cover of "Crazy Night"??? Does anybody know 'bout that? Blue Tequila mentions life and energy...Those could very well be key words describing Loudness. A very ambitious ring! I like it when you can hear the ambition screamin' thru' your speakers

From: Fat Freddy Appointment: Dec 29, 2003 at xix:17
Loudness fans... does anyone accept any idea what the HELL the constant chant of "M! Z! A!" in "Crazy Nights" means? Information technology's been bothering me for over fifteen years now...

From: anamal Date: December 29, 2003 at 19:37
FF..MZA was a rock lodge that Loudness played at all the time in Japan

From: Fatty Freddy Date: Dec 30, 2003 at 10:12
Anamal, thanks a million for the scoop on "MZA"... I can finally get a good night's sleep now that I know the answer to that question. You rule.

From: Date: Feb 17, 2004 at 12:56
loudness is a band with talented kickass musicians... from takasaki's great leads to yamashita's grounding bassline to higuchi'south thunderstorm drummin and last merely not to the lowest degree the great vocal! Pity though the lyrics like u guys said were hilarious... anyway they were a swell band and still is... u guys got their latest??

From: MIKE S Date: April 8, 2004 at 16:36
Similar jgolden above I as well saw this band backing up MOTLEY CRUE back in '85 on the Theatre Of Pain tour. I believe this was their very commencement American tour. LOUDNESS blew the Crue off the stage IMO!! 1 of the tightest sets I've e'er seen in 25+ years of concertgoing. Akira Takasaki is i monster of an axeman who sadly gets lilliputian to no recognition in the US. This release is a MUST Ain for any 80s metal enthusiast!

From: dinoman1967 Engagement: May 11, 2004 at 17:47
i cant say ENOUGH good shit nearly this anthology! akira takasaki damn nearly cnaged my life! HA! his guitar playing is STILL the best ever! guys similar malmsteen, george lynch, the list goes on and on, are all very talented guys, merely they PALE in comparison with akira! the quickest flashiest player always/ and flashy guitar playing was/is whats it's all nearly to me! he could creepo, burn down, shred and everything else. just listen to the note bending work on HEAVY CHAINS and CRAZY Dark.... withal hurts my neck

From: Rob Appointment: May 31, 2004 at 17:51
One of the best metal albums ever. Menses.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 27, 2004 at 20:30
The music on this album just smokes. The guitarist is incredible and you can run across why this band was huge in Nippon. The trouble lies in the fact that the lyrics are awful and the singing is striking and miss due to some of the pronounciations. When they did bring in a native English vocaliser though, the quality of their work slipped. half dozen/10

From: jack Date: September 10, 2004 at 7:45
If they were from usa, they would accept been much popular, bigger and successful than they are now with such amazing talent. This guys played music with such passion and style that remains a rarity in modern or todays's human activity. Korn, cold play, oasis or soundgarden don't even hold a candle to this awesome japanese rock/metal machine ring. Ratings for this album:ix/10. ratings for this band in the 80'southward:x/x.

From: Rene Date: September 10, 2004 at 9:28
I agree with you Jack. All the LOUDNESS albums from the 80s are increible and specialy this one.

From: 80'due south freak Date: December 17, 2004 at ten:05
I got this one with HURRICANE EYES in a used LP store, yes, LP! And Nevertheless sounds peachy!!! LOUDNESS opened the doors for other Japanese bands that followed.

From: Frenkie Appointment: January two, 2005 at five:58
I finally got hold of a copy last week. Listening to it over and over. Excellent album. There was somebody here who was talking about a cover of "Crazy Nights". It wasn't Primal Fear who made the cover, although Ralph Scheeprs (singer of Primal Fear) sings this song. The rest is played by Therion and can be establish on their "Crowning of Atlantis" album.

From: Metalhead66 Engagement: January 3, 2005 at xiv:32

I saw these guys open up for Motley crue back in '86, (yikes, shows my age....)smashing ring!! this cd is a Archetype, along with the 1st rough Cutt cd.

From: forgotten warrior Date: May 7, 2005 at 1:32
i agree awesome band in fact i almost e'er accept a loudness cd in my stereo however this in my opinion was the disappiontment of thier 80's materialand thier original singer was such a turnoff that when they got a practiced singer in the late lxxx's nobody in america was listening...unfortunate indeed

From: Fat Freddy Date: January 22, 2006 at 13:57
Loudness fans... not only has a lot of Loudness' 1980s and 90s piece of work been reissued (or in some cases, issued for the start time) in the U.S. by Wounded Bird Records (world wide web.woundedbird.com), they are also coming TO the U.S. this spring for their outset American gigs in nearly xx years. This is a good fourth dimension to check out this legendary band! Their "Rockshocks" album of re-recorded oldies will be released by Crash Music this Spring to coincide with the U.South. tour. Cool eh?

From: juan carlos Date: September 13, 2006 at 23:05
Due south, gran album! influencias claras de Judas Priest/Manowar. La cara A del disco es en definitiva lo mejor IMHO. "Crazy Nights" con un coro a lo Manowar muy bueno. "Like Hell" tremendo solo! "Heavy Chains" otra buensima cancin con otro solo descollante. "Get Abroad" a lo Judas, temazo! "We Could Be Together" meldico muy bueno!. Comienza mal la cara B con la 6 regular el tema. De all, todos temas buenos. Lo resaltante es obviamente el trabajo del hacha Takasaki: Impresionante! 9/ten

From: CS2007 Date: October nine, 2007 at 19:22
Loudness was the commencement metal ring from Nippon to sign a tape bargain with an American label. This is their fifth full length studio album, and their first album that was entirely in English. The musicianship here is fantabulous, and the production is also very good. The best songs here are "Like Hell", "Get Away", and "The Lines Are Downwardly". This is probably the best Loudness album.

From: Buitre Date: November 28, 2007 at 8:12
I recorded this one from a friend back in the 80's...I remember it as the best i from Loudness and after reading the comments i'll attempt to detect/buy the cd.

"Crazy Nights" has everything I like Dokken and Motley Crue for! Arrogant melodic with fuck-you mental attitude! To me their all-time track!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 9, 2012 at 22:00
Archetype album....a band that was face to face with their american and european counterparts..."Like Hell" seems to be the favourite song of many and that includes myself ,autonomously from that some other adept rocking moments are "Crazy Nights","Get Away"(rocks skillful!),"Nosotros Could Be Together","Clockwork Toy"(rocks good!) & "Never Change Your Mind"(nice)...Minuro Nihara was at his peak in here...recommended...88/100

From: Buitre Engagement: June seven, 2013 at 10:54
Got it! Finally...It sounds only as I remembered information technology: killer guitars -Takasaki nails everey note- and thundering drums & bass mixed up with screaming party lyrics. Ok, it might not exist "the" outstanding icopn of the era but I would't miss it. fourscore/100

From: hair metallic again Appointment: Oct x, 2015 at 0:23
